What Bupa can offer
As one of the UK's largest providers of care to older people, Bupa offers a number of services to meet your needs, and you don't have to be a member of a Bupa insurance scheme to benefit.
Treating residents as individuals
In all of Bupa's care homes, they encourage as full and active a lifestyle as possible for each resident. Above all, each resident is treated as an individual, and encouraged to exercise choice in all aspects of their care. Bupa wants residents to feel at home, and rules and regulations are kept to a minimum.
The friendly atmosphere ensures that everyone is able to continue their daily life with personal privacy and dignity, as well as the highest standards of care.
Individual care plans
Each home is run by a home manager experienced in the care of older people. They are supported by trained care assistants and senior care assistants and, in nursing homes, registered nurses. Bupa employs dedicated staff, and their Investor in People accreditation reflects the continuing training and development that their staff receive.
Each resident receives an individual care plan, which is regularly monitored and updated. Additional services such as physiotherapy, chiropody and speech therapy can be arranged. Appointments such as dentists and opticians are also arranged for residents.
